real,- the German hypermarket network (METRO Group) opened its first store in Russia in 2005. Within the next 3 years, 8 stores were opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Volgograd. Today real,- operates with 15 stores in Russia. Center for Spatial Research has provided a geomarketing research of potential turnover of hypermarket planned to be open in St.Petersburg. The task was to build a geographically-accurate time coverage zones around the planned store and to provide a thorough socio-demographic and economic analysis of population of these time zones.
Center for Spatial Research has also provided the Company with comprehensive analysis of competitive landscape within trade area of the future
real,- hypermarket.
